Hole 10

A dog-leg to the right, where it can sometimes be difficult to judge the correct line.

This is a hole where straight driving is all important. The fairway of hole 1 on the right is out of bounds and there is plenty of deep rough within easy reach down the left. Aim to play just inside the old concrete bunker on the crest of the slope, with a slight fade. Once on the far side of this slope, the large and lightly defended green is clearly visible and should present few problems. If, however, you are playing blind over the crest, it is very easy to play too far left and run into the hedge or the out of bounds ditch.

It is probably worth while walking to the top of the slope before you play, just to make sure you are actually going in the right direction!
