Hole 13

Although generally downwind, only the very best players are likely to reach the green of this long par 5 (stroke index 2) in two. Restraint and placement are therefore the key to a good score here.

The main danger for the drive is the out of bounds down the right. For ideal position, aim to play between the left hand fairway bunkers and the marker pole (both visible from the tee). Notwithstanding further bunkers down the left, it is also better to keep to this side of the fairway with the second shot, as this opens up the best line to the green.

This green is slightly elevated, with a slope in front, so be sure to take enough club for your approach. Yet another putting surface which runs downhill from back to front.
