One of the more technical holes on the course. The drive over water should not normally present any difficulties, although from the back tee with the wind against the distance should not be underrated, particularly for ladies and seniors.
The left hand side of the fairway offers the best line into the heavily defended green, which slants away deceptively from front left to back right. As so often in the Palingbeek, correct club selection for the second shot is crucial.
If you are going to miss, better to be short and in the bunkers than long and in the rough beyond the putting surface.
